Meta-aramid Chopped Fiber is a high-performance fiber material.

Definition and Raw Materials: Meta-aramid chopped fibers are obtained by cutting meta-aramid fibers into certain lengths. Meta-aramid is the full name of polyisoprene terephthalamide fiber, commonly known as aramid 1313.

Performance Characteristics:

Excellent thermal stability: Can be used for a long time in an environment ranging from -196℃ to 204℃, can withstand a 300℃ temperature shock, does not melt when exposed to fire, will directly carbonize, and has excellent dimensional stability.

Good flame retardancy: The limit oxygen index (LOI) value is ≥28, it is inherently flame-retardant, does not smolder or continue to smolder, and extinguishes itself upon removal from the fire.

Excellent electrical insulation: Good electrical insulation at high temperatures, the aramid paper made from it has a withstandable breakdown voltage of up to 22kv/mm.

Better chemical stability: Resistant to many inorganic acids, bases and organic solvents, can withstand certain common industrial chemicals to a certain extent, but it is not recommended to be exposed to chemicals for a long time.
